Apple Days at Tumba Paper Mill Museum

12 - 13 September 2026
The museum's Apple Days are back! From September 12-13, there will be a variety of apple-themed activities, including a pomological walk, apple pressing, variety identification, and an apple exhibition! Bring your family, friends, and colleagues! Museum admission is free, some activities have a participation fee.

Apple pressing

Curious about how apple pressing works? When the local residents press their apples, you’re welcome to come and watch. If you have a small amount of apples, you’re welcome to try pressing them yourself (space permitting, waiting times may occur).

Identify your apple variety

Want to know what’s growing in your garden? Bring apples from your own garden for variety identification by pomologist Mats Brokvist. The variety identification is open to everyone, but please note that waiting times may occur.

Pomological walk

Apple exhibition

What’s your favorite variety? Apples have surprisingly different sizes, colors, and shapes when we see them lined up next to each other. Bring apples from your own garden and compare them with those in the exhibition. You might discover which variety you have at home! Free admission.
